The dvd player works great. It doesn't record some movies, like the ones you would watch on ENCORE and STARZ because, those types movies are copy protected.

Product was as described and was one of the easiest installs I have ever had. Simple to operate. Quality and easy of use make it a great product and one I'll recommend any time.

THis player had some of the worst instructions I have ever seen. I had to call Samsung several times just to get the thing to record. Then the DVD that I copied in several formats would not play on my other DVD. Is it possible to give negative stars?

After installing the product found the LCD Display was too dark (Green Color) and very small for a person to see while using the remote. Needed to get next to the unit to see the Display & operate the recording procedure. We are use to a larger display with bright white lettering. Amazons return policy was efficient & excellent.

This DVD recorder is so easy to use! I basically figured out how to convert VHS to DVD in no time. And it works great!
