5 out of 5 stars Sort of makes me regret my Sennheiser 595 purchase...   October 27, 2008
I'm not kidding... these headphones come decently close to sounding as good as my Sennheiser HD-595 Premier headphones. About 4/5 as good, more-or-less. We're talking about a $20 pair of headphones (after shipping, for me) versus a $180 pair of headphones. Incredible.

Perhaps if I had an amp, the quality difference would be a bit more obvious, but as it stands these are a definite winner as far as sound is concerned - especially for what you pay. Bass is amazing for how small and cheap looking these are - mids and highs are crystal clear. Sound leakage isn't as big of an issue as with my Sennheisers.

Comfort could be a little bit better... they're nice and light and the clip works pretty good; however, when I take them off my ears I feel a little bit of pain. Nothing substantial really - nothing bad enough to dock a star.

Design is okay. I once had a pair of Panasonic clip-ons which had a ear clip that snapped on thanks to some sort of spring mechanism. It worked really well... I sort of wish these had that sort of mechanism.

The KSC75 look pretty cheap... but they are cheap so this is a non-issue.

Besides a few nit-pick issues, you'll be hard pressed to find things to complain about in these little guys. 5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars Koss KSC75   October 24, 2008
Fantastic....

Problem with low quality mp3. they are so good you can hear if the mp3 is crap or not.

too good for the price. Have recommended these to many friends.
All have bought and have thanked me.

5 out of 5 stars UH-MAZE-ING! Extremely phenomenal for the price.   October 24, 2008
I am EXTREMELY picky and VERY critical. I RARELY let good things wash out bad things about a product. These headphones are phenomenal for the price.

First and foremost, they are headphones, so I have to say that they sound very very good. The bass is rich and accurate. The highs are clear and not tinny. MOST importantly, the highs, mids, and lows almost never interfere with one another. This is critical for any traditional headphone set with speakers in the earpieces because this is what most cheap sets suffer from. These headphones sound like an $80-100 set EASILY! They would put $100+ sets a run for their money in terms of sound and clarity.

build quality is cheap. what did you expect? they're $10. that being said, the important parts that are likely to break are beefed up such as the ear clip and its hinge. the rest of it looks like it suffers a little from cheap production methods. the most notable down side to this is that the wire they use is very cheapish, but they're good enough. the quality is nothing to really complain about. its plenty good and more than sufficient.

they stay ON your ears. I suffer from 'odd-ear-itus.' Most sets just fall off my ears within minutes with me just sitting here. these will DEFINITELY hold up while running. they are also comfortable for extended periods of time.

the biggest problem with these is that they are MADDDD ugly. but whatever, they're not absolutely horrible. they're headphones, and they're not really that large so nobody's gonna make fun of you for it.

the ONLY other problem is that you probably shouldn't plan on using these in the library since there is no real privacy factor to them. they are actually traditional headphones without the part that goes over your head...

but really, for 10$ you can't go wrong. they are especially good for the gym/working out because of the deep rich bass, ear stability, and cheapness in case they break.

5 out of 5 stars Unbeatable Value and Incredible Sound   October 23, 2008

I was Extremely impressed by the sound of these phones when I first heard them, and every time I've put them on since. I doubt you'll ever need another set after buying these... especially since they come with a Lifetime Warranty. The are very enjoyable to listen to, not only due to their incredible sound quality, but also to the fact that you can experience such high-quality audio reproduction wherever you go. Definitely one of the the best values to be found anywhere.

2 out of 5 stars Sound good but flimsy   October 14, 2008

These sounded great with my portable player. The ear pieces were hard to deal with while wearing glasses. Also, I was told that everybody within ten feet can hear what I'm listening to at high volume. Not good on public transport.

While listening in bed, the plastic ear piece pops off if I roll over wrong. Then I'm fumbling around in the dark trying to reassemble the headphones, while half asleep. Finally one of the ear pieces disappeared, rendering the phones unusable.

OK, I'm a klutz. I need something simple, that stays in one piece.
