 Perfect size and picture for our exercise area October 30, 2008
I purchased the Samsung LN22A650 for use in our exercise area. The lesser quality LN22A450 was $100 more at Best Buy, so Amazon is the way to go. The TV arrived on time and was easy to mount to the wall with the Sanus Systems MF215-B1 mount. The picture quality is very good. The sound is a bit tinny, but that may be the poor acoustics of the exercise area. It's sufficient for where it is used, but use in a bedroom or smaller family room might require external speakers.

I bought this tv based on other reviews. The HD channels are sharp and look very nice. The volume is ok although it seems you have to have it pretty loud if you are not directly in front of it. As for the color, it's barely noticeable -- not stark or bright. It's mostly black with a burgundy hue (quite pretty). At the time the black one was $50 more and I couldn't justify the higher price. I'm glad we got the red one; it's safely different. It arrived in just a few days and we're really happy with this purchase (and the price was amazing!!)

I am really glad that I chose this set.
The picture quality is excellent and so is the sound. There is depth of field and it certainly is High Definition. The size is perfect for my bedroom. I can also pick up more channels with this than I could with my analog. I use an in room antenna....nothing fancy....just cheap but works with this TV perfectly. I may try a made for HDTV antenna in the future and perhaps this would bring more channels, but I am do not watch a lot of TV, so this is perfect for me.

Just received my tv and here are my initial observations:
Picture quality is great.
The advertising sticker on my tv came off fairly easily with no residue left on the frame of the tv. I guess Samsung fixed that problem.
As for the use of water issue on "cleaning" the tv some people wrote about... You should NEVER use water on the LCD screen itself (there are special LCD screen cleaning solutions available). On the cleaning cloth package that came with my tv, the graphic shows to use water on the cleaning cloth to clean the "frame" of the tv (not the screen). I guess it could confuse some people not familiar with LCD screens. I didn't read the owner's manual to see if there was any notation on cleaning procedures.
I noticed that the audio is different (ie, loudness) depending on if you are viewing an analog or digital channel. If I am watching an analog channel and I change to a digital channel, I found that I have to increase the volume.
Apparently, the 19-inch model includes "both" a wall mounting kit and a "tilting" stand. One would think that they would include those "extras" in the more expensive models (at least the tilting stand).
The remote control is not very ergonomically designed. Having a round design which tapers on both ends makes it hard to operate with one hand, especially if you are using any of the bottom buttons. Lighted buttons would have been a nice feature to include.
All-in-all, with it's great picture, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tv to anyone looking for a 22-inch tv.

This is a nice HDTV I use it as an over the air unit with a Terk indoor antenna .Once the antenna is adjusted the picture is amazing there is sound volume problems on a few stations but I don't know it it's the tv or the broadcast station problem also the remote seems to me to be backwards with the thick end in your palm and the thin end towards the tv but maybe it's just me the tv is great overall. As for Amazon.com shipping it came in a way oversize box with little packing protection and several holes in the outerbox I fault Amazon for poor packing and UPS for rough handling.
