Short range. Will not work with (at least some) plasma TVs March 4, 2008

A mixed review. Nice physical design. Good packaging. Recharges in cradle. Cords and rechargeable battery provide. Volume control on headset. However, this product does not work with at least one type of plasma TV. My guess is that it will have trouble with any plasma TV on in the same room. (A footnote in the manual warns of this.) Also this is an IR headphone. You must be in range of the TV/Hifi. I found I could get about 10 - 15' away before it cut out. Your mileage may vary. Finally, the sound was ok, but not "pure." A little hissy at times.
