Customer Reviews:
Great earphones for the price! November 5, 2008 I just wanted a cheap pair of earphones for occasional use at my desk at work. For the price these earphones work great. Obviously, it's not high-end sound but for my purposes they are perfect. Very comfortable too. ~~~ Update: I paid $3 for these earphones; I wanted another pair but now they are $10! Am I disappointed... :( If these buds go on sale again, snap them up as they really are a great product for that price! Having paid only $3 for the first pair, I am not sure I will pay $10 for a second pair as there are similar earphones available on Amazon for less than $10 which would probably be just as good for general use. For example the Coby CVE92 Isolation Stereo Earphones which I purchased at the same time as the others for about $7. Although, I've not had a chance to test this pair out, so I cannot comment on the quality of these.
Good for the Price November 3, 2008 These aren't the best headphones out there, in fact they are not even close. But considering their price ($3 when I bought them, they might go up and down) they are good headphones. I've been using them for about a month and they still work. For $3 that's about all I can ask. I'm not an expert on sound quality so I can't really comment, except to say that to me they sound fine (not excellent but fine). It takes a little bit to get them in my ears just right so they actually stay in (this might be different for you). I do notice that compared to my original headphones (the standard Apple ones that come with the iPods) this does isolate outside sounds. I like this, because I don't like to have to crank up the volume of my music to hear it over other noises at my work. I should note that so far I have only plugged these into my computer and listened to music that way. So in summary, these are a good deal if you are just looking for something to play music without necessarily great quality.
