Meh, even for Coby October 12, 2008 I have a few pair of Coby earbuds and I actually like a few of them, but these are no good. I bought them for working out but they continue to fall out of my ears. They're fine if you're sitting at a computer, but don't buy these if you intend to work out with them. The sound quality is okay, I guess, but I've seen better. If you want a good pair of "cheap" earbuds, go with SkullCandy.
Good for non-music listening September 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've my favorite Sony Fontopia (MDR-51X) for my MP3 player with great sound quality so when I saw this with only $2.99 (need a few bucks for free shipping), I purchased red and green pairs. This ear phone comes with extra pair of silicone ear buds. Smaller buds fit in my ears well but the larger one fits well with my Sony Fontopia (easy to loose ear buds) somehow. I use this Coby for watching movies in my bedroom at nights. Good sound quality for movies but not good for my MP3 player somehow. Anyway, I don't regret purchasing this (or green one) as both fulfilled as "fillers" free shipping for my orders and ear buds can be replaced for my Sony.
Terrible September 2, 2008 Don't but these people. They may be dirt cheap but they don't sound decent at all.

I just received my Coby jammerz Earphones and thought immediately, that they were descent looking and very comfortable. I like the Amazon price of just under 3 dollars too. So while I was returning to the website to add another order of these for someone else in my family... I looked at the back of my package and it reads : "WARNING : Handling the cords on this product will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm. (BOLD *Wash Hands After Handling*)... After reading this I immediately decided to remove them, as I own pet birds. Lead is toxic to birds and I won't take the chance that my little bird flies on my shoulder (like he did minutes ago), and curiously touch or nibble on this cord while I'm wearing it. (another concern would be just touching the headphones and then the birds) I will look into other earphones without this type of covering for use while I'm at home. (Hopefully this isn't the norm as far as earphones go?)
I don't know if this type of warning would affect anybody else, but I thought I would mention it here, in case someone was debating whether to purchase this product.
Otherwise, the product sounds good and fits really comfortably in small ears. They include an extra set of white/clear, spongy ear pieces, these fit inside the ear and do not easily fall out.
