Exellent Product October 27, 2008
The Speck see thru case is an excellent MacBook PROtector! I have a similar device for my iPod and it did so well, when I saw this product, I had to have it. If you are looking to protect your costly computer from dings, scratches, and scuffs, this is the way to do it.
Great Case for Macbook Pro October 15, 2008

This is a great choice for a macbook pro. I travel every week. This case has taken what would've been potential dings and scratches and kept my macbook pro looking brand new. I have to take the laptop out to go through security twice a week and the protective shell is more than up to the task. hardly noticeable when in use. And is hardly noticeable on the computer since it is a clear case. Would recommend to anyone with a macbook pro that is planning on using it as a laptop and traveling with it

The first thing I would like to point out is that the product image provided by Amazon is the older version of the Speck MacBook Pro Black case. This item is actually the second version, thus the V2 in the product name. I think the newer version is much sleeker than its predecessor and I am very happy with this case. It fits perfectly on my MacBook Pro and definitely improves the overall durability of the computer. I will be taking the laptop with me around campus in my backpack and like the fact that it will be protected from scratches. I recommend this product and am confident it will hold up to a college lifestyle.

So I read a lot of reviews before buying this thing. Most of them are good and so far I have to agree.
1) Arrived fast
2) Perfect fit (although my screen's small misfit due to mistreatment seems to have increased a tiny bit after attaching this protection case. Not much!)
But:
3) It does attract small hairs and more than the Mac without the hard case. Not like a magnet though as other people say. Not that bad at all.
4) The item being a clear see thru thingy I didn't even take into consideration that my Mac, which I bring where ever I go, gained a little weight with the hard case. On the other hand that mean that the shield actually have some build quality so it's not a complaint - just info for you guys that haven't bought it yet.
So far I'm pleased!
