5 out of 5 stars Top quality   November 25, 2008
The frequency response is 7Hz-22kHz, only few headphones can go that low. Turn off the EQ on the MP3 player, Zune doesn't have one which is great, and make sure the MP3 files are ripped at 192kbps or 320kbps from the CD. Here is a good example for testing, A New Day Has Come by Celine Dion:
A New Day Has Come

WARNING: This headphone is not for outdoor use unless you are castaway. :) The "cheap" Sony MDR-J10 h.Ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Blue) is designed for that.

4 out of 5 stars Great Bass!   November 19, 2008
These headphones are solid, tough, retro and have great bass sound. The only gripe was the length of the cord...but I extended it. Great price, too!

4 out of 5 stars Great Headphones and cool style   November 16, 2008

These headphones sound great and look cool too. I mostly listed to my podcast whilst doing the dished and other chores around the house. These headphones, despite not being sound canceling, do cutout a lot of the running water sounds when I am doing the dishes. With my glasses, it is hard to find headphones that feel comfy on my head, but these fit great. A great set of headphones IMHO.

4 out of 5 stars Very good headphones   November 9, 2008
These headphones give out very nice sound. It has about a 4 foot straight cord, which I prefer over a coiled one. I use a short extended cord with a volume control and it is perfect for my use.

4 out of 5 stars Good headphones, Description is wrong, you don't get extension cable.   November 7, 2008

The people that are saying these headphones are as good as the more expensive ones must be tone deaf or something. They are good headphones but are not worth more than what they cost ~$40. I got mine for around $21 so they are a bargain at that price. Sound quality is good for most people, the headphones do not isolate outside noise as you might imagine, you can easily hear what's going on around you when the volume is low. These do not come with the extension cable so you'll need to buy an extension if you plan to use these with anything other than a portable MP3 player cable is only 4ft enough to go from your head to your waist. These are also very light, which makes them feel cheap but perfect for portable use. They also seem very delicate with the thin metal wires and plastic construction, but I can't judge on that as I've only had them for a few days now. Bottom line if you are looking for audiophile sound quality and something that feels like it's built well spend the money on the expensive stuff. If you want a good set of headphones you won't feel bad about abusing, letting your kids use them or losing them then get these, perfect for work.
