As good as everyone says November 30, 2008 I'll make this short and sweet -- they're as good as everyone says, yes, the bass is amazing...
My two cents is also just to add in that I've now had them for a year, and they're still as great as ever. I also am too lazy to put them into the carrying case that comes with them, so even with being a lot more exposed to whatever other items are in my pocket/backpack/etc, they have held up remarkably well.
If you want in-ear headphones...don't waste your money on anything else.
Bose In-Ear Headphones November 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Bose TriPort IN-Ear Headphones are the best I've tried with my iPod. The sound quality is great and full. The silicone adaptors hold the phones securely in the ears; they never get dislodged whether walking briskly or jogging. The sound quality, and fit in the ears, is infinitely better than the original iPod buds, or Sony earbuds I tried, both of which tend to fall out with any head movement. A superb product- highly recommended!
These are the worst headphones imaginable. Disappointed with BOSE November 24, 2008 The phones fall out of the ear. The rubber cover will likely fall off a few times and get lost. They don't block outside sound whatsoever. I guess if you are in a silent room, sitting snug on the couch not moving a muscle, these are the phones for you.
My ears don't fit! November 24, 2008 The sound quality with my SanDisk is good not great. Could be the SanDisk. There are two sets of earbud covers but neither really secures the earbuds in the ear...at least not my ear. Product was received quickly and in condition as described.
Disappointed - Poor High Frequency Response November 22, 2008 I typically like the sound of Bose products, so I tried these out after being disappointed in some more expensive Shure earphones. The Bose sounded fairly natural with good lower end response, but muddy in the higher frequencies. I ended up returning these and buying the Sennheiser CX-500, which I am fairly happy with. As a point of reference, I did like these better than the Shure SE-310K and Sony MDR-EX71SL, but less than the Sennheisers or Grado SR125 headphones. These might suit you, but trying is believing. I had purchased these from Bose, and was able to return them without difficulty. See my review of the Shure earphones for further thoughts.
