Cups too shallow December 2, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
No my ears don't stick out: not even as much as most. I got tired of the computer style headphones that press a foam disk against your ear so I decided to buy a set of "cans" and chose these. The sound is fine, the price right, but the cans, or earcups, are too shallow: the foam over the speaker still presses against my ear uncomfortably. To me, the ring that goes around your ear should press against your head, leaving your ears untouched. That's why I can wear hearing protectors all day with no problem: they are designed for comfort! These are not. Also, their smallest size setting is just right for this 40 yr old male. If your head is smaller, you may need to wear a hat or two under these.
Amazing Treble and decent bass. Awesome Value Product. April 5, 2005 The best headphones for the price I have ever bought. At first glance, I found them normal. But if you listen carefully, these headphones have the best treble output I have ever seen. Listening to an acoustic guitar on this one makes you feel you are in the clouds. The design of the earcups are soo good that you can wear the headphones all day long. The long cord is a huge advantage. I recently bought a Bose headphones, which are the best. But I still love my labtec. They might not be as good as Bose but definitely a lot of value for its price. Thanks a lot Labtec, Awesome product at a highly affordable price.
Looks nice but it isnt at all ! November 1, 2004 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought Labtec 835 going by the reviewws , but now i have stopped believeing reviews and specificationgs...., these headfone are bad , no real volume with clarity , sick bass , i mean only u can listen to something like a lecture ... ! good thing, these headfones are real comfortable ! But then pay 16 $ for that ??? Pay a little more and get something better ! I didnt like these headfones at all ! If u r a music lover, u wont like them , dont buy them ! else u regret....
Best quality you will find for the price. October 25, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These headphones are great if you want inexpensive headphones but still decent quality. They have adjustable sizes and the earpieces even rotate to fit you better. They fully cover your ears, which is a big plus for me, and block out sound pretty well. The sound quality is decent and the volume goes up nice and loud (my last pair of headphones were far too quiet). The cord is very long, which can be convenient.
The only drawback is that they are a bit heavy and just a bit tight on your ears, but this is because of a sturdy design that looks like it would take a lot to accidentally break them.
You can find better headphones out there, but they will cost 2-3 times as much. Best bargain headphones I've ever seen.
Excellent Headphones August 31, 2004 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These headphones are the best for their price! I bought them for use with my iBook laptop, and have been amazed at their value. Wearing them feels like riding in an Escalade - lots of cushy leather. They are fairly large, but that is a welcome feature for me after trying to keep little earbuds in my ears! The cord is long, which is nice for when you're working around your room, but not so great when you're sitting at a desk. Sound quality is excellent with all genres (which is good, because I listen to classical one minute and hip hop the next!). The bottom line? Buy them! I don't think you'll find a better deal.
