I purchased this adapter because the manufacturer's website said that I needed it based on the model of my TV. I entered the Brand and Model Number on www.omnimount.com and it said that in addition to the actual wall mount, I would also need this adapter. After receiving this adapter, I could not figure out how to attach it to my TV. The pre-drilled holes in the wall mount did not line up with the pre-drilled holes in my TV, so I decided to call OmniMount. After speaking with the customer service rep, we determined that I did not need the wall mount adapter, contrary to what the website states. Therefore, I had to go through the hassle of returning the item. However, OmniMount has agreed to reimburse me for the shipping costs that I will not be refunded by Amazon because it is not Amazon's fault that I made the purchase. Moral of the story - speak with an OmniMount customer service rep before purchasing because OmniMount's website might not be accurate.

If you need an adapter, this one is very easy to install and very flexible.
