I would recommend this mount to anyone buying a larger LCD. It tilts up/down, swivels left/right, and can pull away from the way effortlessly! I have mine set-up in my great room and this unit works great as when you are watching from the couch, you can tilt it down and when you are across the room in the kitchen or bar area, you can pull it out, swivel it to the left, and tilt it back... so you can see it from anywhere you might be in the room!
It does stick out from the wall about 4-5 inches when fully pushed in, but that can be expected if you want the swivel and extension features. I was leary of the included mounting bolts so I invest in some harden ones from the local hardware store. It pays to shop around as this unit was almost $200 cheaper at Amazon (plus shipped for free!!)as compared to BB and CC.

The mount itself is great, but do yourself a favor and don't use the lag screws that came with the unit. I put two of them into my wall and both snapped in half during the install. I had to pay HD a visit and purchase 4 new lag screws as I didn't trust the remaining hardware. The new screws worked fine. I don't think it was my install that snapped the screws as the new ones went in without a hitch.

Have a 50" Samsung Plasma on this mount and it works like it's suppose to. Installation is not for the novice DIY. I built a shadow box in the wall and anchored the mount into both wood studs and brick. It looks and performs great. I have no worries about the plasma falling from this mount. It moves side to side effortlessly, your need a little more effort if you want to tilt it (screws). I'm happy with the purchase as it meet all my expectations.

Amazon's price is great and their delivery very timely. Once this mount is up and installed, it is fabulous -- well engineered, excellent manufacturing, very "tweakable" for leveling and ease of movement -- a solid mount for my new Pio 5010. So why not 5 Stars?
Amazon ships the product (which is quite heavy) in the product's original packaging (no outer box). When mine arrived, the carton had been heavily taped with clear packaging tape. Upon opening the box -- no documentation/manual of any kind. Went to Sanus website and fortunately the product documentation was available for download -- downloaded and printed the manual. First section of the manual is a parts listing, which given the state of the carton, I cross-checked against the major components. To my disappointment (but not surprise) 2 MAJOR parts were not present. The manual pleads you to contact Sanus for parts, instead of returning the product to the dealer, so the next morning I dutifully called CS at Sanus to see about getting the missing parts. Parts were to be sent out that day -- expedited. Unfortunately, the parts were sent out "ground" and took 6 days to arrive.
When speaking to CS rep at Sanus, I was advised that the 2 bags of small parts (bolts, washers, etc) were all that were shipped with the major components. As I had received both bags intact and factory sealed I believed once the major components arrived I would be all set. WRONG!
As a previous reviewer has noted the retaining bolts for the restrictor/preventor plate were no where to be found in the 2 small parts bags. Again, contacted Sanus and was told the bolts were out-of-stock. Sanus has evidently made a "business decision" to knowingly send out this product without these parts. While the exact parts were not locally available (6mm cylinder head Allen bolts), I was able to find a hex-head bolt at Lowes that works OK.
Summary: While the supply chain failed to perform to expectations, I am VERY pleased with the mount itself. Amazon, the weight of this mount exceeds the carton's capacity to be used as a "shipper" (consider using an outer shipping box). Sanus, shame on you for KNOWINGLY selling a product without all its parts -- the marketplace will punish you for your error in judgement.

I have this mount for only 1 month, but seems like an excellent product.
Good value compared to Best Buy or Circuit City.
