All in all a fairly nice TV stand for the price. However, as another seller noted, this thing was completely destroyed when it arrived on my porch. Basically every piece had some damage including big chunks out of some corners. The box looked like it was shipped out of Baghdad. Luckily, the manufacturer sent new pieces which were well packaged. Again, nice product, but don't buy it here!

Poor Packaging, Arrived Damaged June 8, 2008
I searched high and low for the right TV stand and this was it! However, what a disappointment when it arrived damaged beyond repair. The protective packaging for this product was non-existant...NONE. Not even syrofoam corner protectors. It was amazing the glass wasn't broken as it had no padding around it either. It looked like it would have been a very nice piece of furniture if it hadn't been for the crushed and chipped corners on each panel and the top. I will say that Amazon does a terrific job of making the return smooth and painless. They arranged for the item to be picked up the next day with the only hassle being no time range for pick up, but I was home so that was ok. I didn't re-order for obvious reasons....I don't think the lack of protection was just somehow missed on the one I ordered.
Nice Stand May 13, 2008
This is a nice stand, one door arrived damaged, but the manufacturer shipped a new one quickly. The finish is not black, it's antiqued. It looks very nice but if you are looking for solid black this might not work for you. The assembly took about a hour and a half and was not terribly complicated. Overall it is a nice sturdy stand and a good value for the price.
