Great Stand, Solid Build, and I had to Earn This One! October 16, 2008 We really like this stand. The corner stand is perfect for us, it has a good, clean look. the Storage baskets are great. I like the glass door, and the remote controls work through the glass, which is important.
The build is solid, which meant that setting this stand up took some time. I think maybe 3 hours.
Bottom line, we would buy the stand again and recommend it to others.
Solid piece of furniture October 15, 2008 This is a heavy piece of furniture. You will need to build it very close to where you want it unless you have a dolley. Everything is designed exactly as you would want your components placed. The glass front hides the equipment due to the glare and allows your remote to work with the door closed.
The front veneer of black adhesive plastic was not put on very well at the factory and is close to coming off whenever I get near the unit. Other than than - it was a great purchase.
omg is this heavy! June 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Super heavy, super solid, handsome corner entertainment stand.
The only thing I don't like, which is really me being silly, is that the drawers can be pushed in too far & it looks funny. My 19 month old son likes to shove them all the way back.
Another thing - you won't want to put high heat producing equipment in this, there isn't much ventilation in the back. My XBox hates it, so I leave the door open when using it. I bought the matching audio tower, so I'll be putting my XBox & Receiver on that.
The backing is cardboard, though, so you can cut more holes in it to vent it better. Or leave it off altogether.
Assembly is tricky only because of it's weight. Overall, it's very attractive, instructions are easy & it does it's job while looking good.
