 Quality not as good as before but still functional. December 4, 2008
I purchased this item several years ago from Stacks and Stacks and am very pleased with it. So pleased, in fact, that I wanted a second one. Unfortunately, Stacks and Stacks no longer sell the double-shelf design, so I ordered this one from Get Organized. (Which may be their company name but certainly not their company mission statement.) The box arrived VERY damaged; although surprisingly nothing inside was broken. I compared this one to the one I had purchased previously and the difference is quality was immediately obvious. Although they are essentially the same unit, the adhesive pads, Velcro, screws and washers were of vastly different quality standards. My recommendation would be, if you do not need the double-shelf design, you can still purchase the single shelf design from Stacks and Stacks. Good luck.

So many whiners saying how "it's cheep", "it's plastic", "poor design, missing parts", blah blah blah.
Of COURSE it's cheep. Of -course- it's made of plastic. The design is just fine for something to be used with an old-fashioned tube TV. Yes, you have to use the double-sided tape included to fasten it, so what? And the teeny tiny bag with the screws is easy to miss as you open the box, so pay attention when opening it.
It is what it is. Mine works just fine, and I'm happy with the price. If you have so many issues with this item that it compels you to write a bad review, you need to shop for a helmet instead, life is hard.

When I recieved this item it was in it's original flimsy box that was beaten up and opened at one end. Now I am missing a piece so I can't really use this at the time. I'm hoping some one contacts me and sends the the other leg. We will see.

With my large silver tv, this product is almost unnoticiable sitting on top. I needed a place for my DVD player and it works out perfectly! Good solution, great price.
