Had I known how good this Belkin HDMI cable is, I wouldn't have bought any of monster HDMI cable, the products are very much same quality, but monster is more on taking your money...This Belkin is very 1.3 and very supportive of 1080p, so whatever HDMI hookup on Onkyo, Pioneer, or Denon receiver, blu-ray, HDTV you have, it works flawlessly. I couldn't see the difference I run on this belkin and monster 1000HD high-speed HDMI, but monster is over $70 while belkin is $17. Don' spend more, get this belkin and be done with satisfaction.
Smooth and Sleek and Gets the Job Done August 9, 2008
I bought this product off of a whim and because of the inexpensive price and Belkin is a well known name. It shipped and arrived really fast and it works just as good as a $50 or $70 cable would.

This HDMI cable works perfectly for me. The HD picture is clear and crisp.
I am very happy with the cable and Amazons price.
Why spend more ... July 22, 2008
Why spend more for other more expensive cable when you can get two Belkin cables for a fraction of the price of one Monster Cable. An average person would not see a difference between Monster and Belkin...

I researched HDMI cables and because I wanted to be sure I could get 1080p I wondered if their was something special in the more expensive cables out there, like the monster and others that are 3 to 5 times as much. I read the reviews by previous buyers of this HDMI and decided to trust them and go for it. Good move. These cables are currently selling for $40 at Target and are as good as any HDMI cables out there as far as the quality of the picture they can deliver to your TV screen! I found that because TVs have become so competitively priced that stores are making their profits on way over priced HDMI cables! If you want a BEST picture quality, you want at least a 1.3 rating on the cable and this has it. I hooked up my new Panasonic Blu-Ray Disk player to my 40" Samsung TV (with a perfect contrast ratio of 29000/1 which is important to depth of color and clarity as well) and put on the ultimate Blu-ray DVD: the BBS Planet Earth and WOWWWWWWW! Better than I've seen in any store on any TV at any price. It doesn't get any better than this for clarity, quality, beauty, and everything else! Don't waste your money on more expensive cables. Buy these and spend the extra on a Blu-ray player and some Blu-ray DVDs. These cables deliver the best of the best I've ever seen anywhere! Unfortunately, I now have a growing addiction for Blu-ray DVDs. Go for it! I promise that these cables will give you the best possible picture at the best possible price! Belkin delivers!
