Great Remote for the price!!!! August 18, 2008 Very easy to set up with my Sony TV, Philips DVD, Motorola-Comcast cable box, great price!!!!
does as promised August 15, 2008 I have an Orion that was not on the pre-programmed list. I was skeptical of "finding" it with this remote but it really did work. Definitely worth the money.
Don't waste your money August 10, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this universal remote hoping to find something that would replace a worn out remote for a small panasonic television in our kitchen. I have searched all over the internet trying to find the appropriate codes and can find nothing that will work. I have followed the instructions that came with the remote trying to get it to learn the code for the television and nothing works. The instructions say there is supposed to be a list of codes that comes with the instruction booklet, but I can find no list of codes in either the english language book or the spanish language book. I have wasted my money and time on this universal remote.Sony RM-VL600 8-Device Universal Learning Remote
Great replacement remote August 8, 2008 I bought the Sony RM-VL6000 universal learning remote to replace the Sony remote that came with my Sony TV. This new remote worked right out of the box with no setup or configuration at all (I half expected it not to) which was important as the previous remote that it would have had to "learn" from was not fully functional!
I have not used it to learn the functions of any other remotes nor have I attempted to control any other device than the Sony TV I purchased it for so I don't know how well it performs when learning or controlling anything else. However, I've had this remote for about a month now and it is working exactly as I need it to; controlling the Sony TV.
Works great, excellent price August 6, 2008 You can't beat this learning remote for less than $20! I won't repeat the other reviews except to say that it works well for me, and has plenty of memory to learn new IR for every button in every mode.
At this price, I bought a few of them and now every room has ONE remote, and they all work the same.
Good show!
