I receved my VM-30s last week. Here are my impressions:
1. I put it through the paces, at first without a sub. You need a sub. Lows are weak. I turned on a Velodyne that is old - 1990. Boy these speakers came alive.
2. Excellent midrange.
3. Above averege transparnecy.
4. Functions well with a lower power amp; I have a Sony ES with 100.
5. Crisp highs. Excellent for chamber music.
6. I got mine from High Decibels online for around $750, with about $90 in shipping each.
7. These speakers look fabulous.
