Five, 100-watt compact speakers and a high-performance powered subwoofer make up Polk Audio's RM6750 compact home theater speaker system. The mineral-filled polypropylene enclosures are non-resonant for more natural sound. The satellite and center speakers feature Polk's patented Power Port bass venting technology. This venting extends and strengthens the speaker's lower-midrange performance for a seamless blend with the subwoofer output. The included 8-inch, 50-watt powered subwoofer uses a long-throw Dynamic Balance poly composite driver for longer driver excursion and better linearity, resulting in big, musical bass. The satellite speakers utilize single, 3.5-inch polymer composite drivers as well. For superior imaging and smooth highs, the center and sats each use a .5-inch silk dome tweeter. All of the satellites feature spring clip speaker wire inputs. Plus, they're magnetically shielded for safe placement near your state-of-the-art TV or video monitor with no risk of video distortion. Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 Channel AMAZING SPEAKERS September 23, 2008
So, I ordered these speakers as an impulse buy, and am 110% satisfied with them. My roommate is a speaker/music junkie and his speakers are about 400$ a piece. He sent me a link to these as I was looking around amazon and other places, and told me that if I did not get these I would be missing out.
That was an understatement. These speakers are 100% crystal clear with 0 distortion and can go extremely loud. My room is probably 20x25 and the speakers completely fill it with perfect sound quality.
When I first picked up the speakers out of the box, I was amazed at the quality they felt like. They don't seem cheap at all, because they have so much substance.
I recommend these speakers to any new-comer in to this category, or to anyone at all because they are absolutely amazing.

I just wanted to echo the unanimously positive reviews on these speakers. Unless you want to host a rock concert in your living room, these speakers are capable of everything you could ask of them.
I have them hooked up through a Harman Kardon AVR 245 receiver. I've turned them up as loud as I can tolerate and there is still NO distortion in the sound. Not only that, but the sub freakin' kicks. While watching "The Mist" on DVD, I had to turn it down to about 1/3 of full power because anything more than that was flat-out overpowering during the frequent drawn-out bass notes.
Once you factor in Amazon's ridiculously good price ($200 as of this posting), this set has to be the best value in the market today.
I read the glowing reviews on here and purchased this system without having ever given it a listen. I've had the system about 2 months now and I honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

I shopped around for a while and found the best price here on amazon. The speakers them selfs are great. The only down side was I purchased the Titanium speakers, the sub was black. Not a hugh deal but wasnt expecting it. I have put over 200 watts through these things and the sound and bass have been great.

These are the best speakers in a small package you can get. Couple these with an Onkyo receiver, and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent speakers! Clear, clean, crisp sound that is accurately reproduced. Not "muddy" or "murky" like some of the other higher priced speakers. And, magnetically shielded. I don't think you can get better speakers for the price. Polk is the best!
